The Elite 1000 and 2000 are the new and updated replacements for the ever popular Platinum Sport 1000 and 2000 ECU which have been the mainstay of the Haltech product range for a number of years now.
When comparing the Sports range to the Elite range the inputs and outputs structure is quite similar with only some minor changes and subtle differences
What have the Elite 1000 and 2000 gained over the Sports Range?
- Knock Sensor Inputs (one channel for Elite 1000 and dual for the Elite 2000)
- Digital Pulsed Inputs are now more flexible and can even be used for rector type inputs
- Upgraded on-board map sensors (now 29psi capable)
- The Elite 2000 has 8 fuel and 8 ignition outputs which makes direct fire and sequential injection now possible on an 8 cylinder
While the input and output changes are minimal the major changes comes in the software programming it all, with the 1000 and 2000 series of ECU's now being controlled by the flexible ESP software.
There are many other features available in the Elite 1000 and 2000 range that i have not mentioned so if you have any other questions about the Elite 1000 or 2000 or any other ECU in this range please don't hesitate to give us a call on the phone, send us a email or hit us up on Facebook..
