“Customer” refers to any individual or business placing an order with QuickBitz.
“Goods” refers to automotive performance and speed parts offered for sale.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order through the QuickBitz website, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when QuickBitz confirms acceptance of the order.
3. Orders and Acceptance
QuickBitz reserves the right to accept or decline any order at its discretion prior to dispatch.
QuickBitz may review and correct:
-
Pricing errors
-
Freight miscalculations
-
Product description errors
-
Platform-generated calculation errors (including Shopify shipping rates)
If an error is identified, the Customer will be notified and given the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the order for a refund (subject to Section 6 – Refunds).
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Full payment is required before orders are processed or dispatched.
QuickBitz is not responsible for typographical errors or automated pricing errors and reserves the right to revise orders accordingly before acceptance.
5. Shipping, Freight and Risk
5.1 Freight Charges
Shipping charges displayed at checkout are estimates only.
In some cases — particularly for heavy, bulky, palletised, engine-related, oversized, or international shipments — automated shipping rates may not reflect the actual freight cost.
Where freight has been undercharged due to:
-
Weight or volumetric miscalculations
-
Palletisation requirements
-
Remote area surcharges
-
Carrier rate changes
-
International destination adjustments
QuickBitz reserves the right to obtain a formal freight quote and issue an updated invoice for the balance of freight payable.
Orders will not be dispatched until all freight charges are paid in full.
If the Customer chooses not to proceed after receiving the updated freight cost, the order may be cancelled and refunded in accordance with Section 6.
5.2 International Orders
For international deliveries:
-
Freight charges are subject to confirmation after purchase
-
All import duties, customs charges, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and destination country charges are the responsibility of the Customer
-
QuickBitz is not responsible for customs delays or clearance issues
5.3 Insurance
Shipping insurance is not included unless specifically requested prior to dispatch.
If insurance is requested, an additional charge will apply and must be paid before shipment.
If insurance is not requested, Goods are shipped at the Customer’s risk once dispatched.
5.4 Transfer of Risk
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer once Goods are dispatched from QuickBitz or collected by the Customer’s nominated carrier.
QuickBitz is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party freight providers after dispatch.
6. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Retail customers may return eligible Goods within 14 days, provided items are:
-
Unused
-
In original packaging
-
In resalable condition
-
Accompanied by proof of purchase
Special-order, custom, electrical, clearance, or made-to-order items are non-refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer unless Goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
6.1 Refunds and Payment Processing Fees
Where a refund is issued for reasons other than:
-
Faulty goods
-
Incorrectly supplied goods
-
Obligations under Australian Consumer Law
The following applies:
-
Original shipping charges are non-refundable once freight has been booked or dispatched
-
Payment processing fees charged by third-party providers (including Shopify Payments, PayPal, Stripe, Afterpay, credit card providers, or similar platforms) are non-refundable
-
Refunds will be issued less any transaction fees, merchant fees, currency conversion fees, or administrative charges incurred by QuickBitz
QuickBitz is not responsible for exchange rate differences on international transactions.
Refunds will be processed once returned Goods are received and inspected.
7. Warranty and Liability
QuickBitz passes on applicable manufacturer warranties where available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights under Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law:
-
QuickBitz is not liable for indirect or consequential losses
-
Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility and correct application before installation
8. B2B Sales (Business-to-Business)
Customers purchasing for resale or commercial purposes acknowledge that separate commercial terms may apply, including restocking fees and restricted return conditions.
QuickBitz reserves the right to correct pricing or freight errors before supply. B2B customers will be notified of any corrections and given the opportunity to proceed or cancel prior to dispatch.
